Brief

Context

Patricia is a young Filipino woman with a good job, independent, confident and who enjoys her life at all times. She loves travelling, sports and going out with her friends. She is keen to try new things and to be seen as an aspirational trendsetter among her friends.

For her period, she has been using thick pads for a long time. Patricia believes she gets good protection from her current pads and does not give much thought to how uncomfortable they may be.  She is concerned, at times, that the thick pads might be seen through her tight-fitting clothes.

Whisper, one of the leading brands of sanitary pads, has launched Skin Love, an ultra-thin pad in the Philippines. It is so incredibly thin that women won’t even feel it, yet it gives complete protection because it is so powerfully absorbent. It is also so comfortable that it makes women forget that they are wearing it, giving them freedom and boundless confidence.

Can you help Whisper convince young working women like Patricia that ultra-thin pads are made for women like them because the pads are so powerfully absorbent and comfortable that they will change women's lives?

Creative Challenge

In a poster with tagline, convince young working women like Patricia to switch to Whisper Skin Love Ultra-thin pads because they are the best choice for both protection and comfort.

Whisper wants women to continue to be unstoppable even during their periods. Incredibly thin yet powerfully absorbent, Whisper Skin Love Ultra-thin pads allow women to feel great, be confident and liberated and live their lives worry-free every day of the month.

It’s also worth paying more for this innovation.

Your idea will be used as inspiration for a campaign, so you need to think big! Think out-of-the-box. We don’t want ideas that you see in sanitary pad brand advertising- or boring technical illustrations or even the typical scientific demo. You need to emotionally engage young women and convince them to switch to ultra-thin pads for a leak free, worry-free period. They should definitely be the first of their friends to try them!

Link the benefit of the product to her life. How will Whisper Ultra-thin pads impact her life? What will it change and how?

Winning Criteria

The winning entries need to bring to life Whisper Ultra-thin pad’s two benefits: incredibly thin and powerfully absorbent. They need to be engage women like Patricia and should be visually appealing, perhaps even sensual. Your idea should have the potential for big campaigns.

  • Selected entries will be used on the Internet. Authorizations and licenses to use protected elements (incl. music, photos..) must be compatible with Internet broadcasting. You must be able to provide a written proof of these authorizations and licenses at any time.
