If you live in another country you can ask us to send you a pack. Here are the main steps of sending us your request:

  • Your request should be sent to us no later than January 25th, 2016.
  • Request should be sent via email to Support: support-en@eyeka.com.
  • Your message should mention your first name, last name, post address, name of the contest.

Your requests will be forwarded to the Company which will carry out the shipping of the packs. The shipping is limited to one pack per participant.

Brief

Context

The Internet is running short of cat videos. We need more. Urgently!

Catisfactions, also known as Temptations (North America) or Dreamies (Northern & Central Europe, Russia, South America), offers a selection of delicious cat treats with a crunchy outside perfectly balanced with a soft irresistible center of meat, cheese or fish. It is so irresistible that cats have been known to do everything to have their treats, like attack the pack to get hold of the precious treats.

Catisfactions has launched a successful advertising campaign showing empty torn packs in posters to prove that cats go nuts to get to their favorite treats. We need your help to bring that idea to social media with hilarious cat videos.

Creative Challenge

In a fun & playful video, show us what happens when an impatient cat decides to take matters into his own paws and attacks a Catisfactions pack.

In your video, show us a spontaneous moment of bonding or connection between the owner and the cat. The cat should be fun and playful, not vicious, angry or annoying. You could create a bit of a story around the attack and show us what happens before and/or after (the aftermath).

You need to use an original Catisfactions pack with the Catisfaction logo as available in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Belgium. If you live in another country, contact us and we will send you one before you film.

Tips

The examples are only provided to illustrate our expectations. Please do not use them in your submission or it will be rejected.

If you want your cat to attack the pack, you could make a small opening in the pack so the cat could smell the treats. It will figure out how to access them…

Example of a good entry: A man is ignoring his cat who is craving some attention. The man is watching TV, playing on his laptop, talking on his phone. The cat is dragging a pack of Catisfactions. The owner stops and looks. The cat pounces and tears it apart in spectacular fashion. The owner got the message and immediately closes his laptop to play with the cat.
Or you could imagine a cat attacking a pack in slow motion set to dramatic music.

Example of a bad entry: A cat is playing around and doing some goofy stuff on his own. Where is the connection with the owner and where is the pack attack?

Prizes

Jury's Prize

  • #1 Prize €11,000
  • #2 Prize €6,000
  • #3 Prize €3,000

Format

Video up to 45 seconds.

Winning Criteria

The best videos will be amplified on social media across France.

The winning videos will be used in their original format (up to 45 sec.) on social media, but will also be used as pre-roll advertising on channels like Youtube. Therefore, once the winners are selected, they will need to do a 20 sec. cut down as well.

It is said that children and pets are the most difficult to film so this is a great opportunity to show that you can create entertaining stories for single-minded briefs. The best videos will show a glorious pack attack, some creative storytelling to make it interesting and fun to watch, and a playful connection between the cat and the cat owner.
