As eYeka members, you are passionate about creation and we guess always looking to acquire new skills in your field of expertise to get better at what you do. Many people are keen to learn a new trade or hobby, such as cooking for example.

You can go to classes… but it means you have to live in a big city that has this kind of programs. This is an exacting activity. Not to mention it’s expensive!

The alternative is to go online and search for appropriate content. But how to be sure you get the right information? Plus that could feel impersonal and boring due to the lack of interaction with other people. How about a third way of learning? What if the best of the two was mixed in order to create a new delightful experience, all year long?

It will soon be possible to have cooking classes delivered at home, in front of your computer. How will it work? Physical content will be delivered at home, by mail. Then you will connect to a website, follow a live class and be able to ask your questions to the chef. Then, you could have access to more content online and connect with a community of other cooking trainees. This is the next generation of home workshops!

A leader in leisure and culture wants to understand your expectations regarding a new home learning experience.

Creative Challenge

Imagine that you are passionate about cooking. We want you to think about how this new kind of home workshop could be delivered to you.

How could you get the same quality of learning than a real class, while being comfortably settled in front of your computer?

Through an engrossing visual media, imagine the full experience of a new way of learning cooking at home.

While creating your entry, you have to include three mandatory elements:

  • The fact of receiving physical content by mail
  • Going to a website to follow a live course by a chef
  • Having access to some information online and connecting to a community

TIPS: You can start by addressing each of the three mandatory elements. Ask yourself these questions: As a passionate about cooking, what kind of content do you want to receive at home ? Recipes, leaflets, utensils, special ingredients etc?

How can you interact with the chef before the class? How can the chef deliver a fun and attractive class?

What kind of content would you need to find online after the class? How would you interact with the community of other trainees?

Winning Criteria

Learning by doing is key here: we will award creations that show how people can get better in cooking thanks to a full program and a delightful experience.

We want to understand what is the role of the service provider.

We will be particularly attentive to entries that best show how physical and digital content can be used to support the learning experience.
