CONTEXT

IIntroducing Chivas J&J, a special, premium edition especially made in honor of the pioneering brothers James & John. Chivas J&J is a blend of 2 rare, precious malts. It is exclusively distributed in selected bars/KTVs in premium cities in China and is sure to become a trendsetter.

BRIEF

This is an exclusive drink, a fashion statement, an affirmation that you stand out from the crowd. It's special, just like you.

To make sure to carry on this reality, we need you to help us to get trendsetters and hipsters in China to try Chivas J&J and order bottles when they're in a bar or karaoke.

Give us innovative, hip, trendy, classy ideas that would portray that message. It can be anything from new drinking experiences, special events to promote the drink, new drinking games, unique ways to sell it or make it stand out in bars/KTVs, new rituals around serving or drinking it, mobile apps using location, QR codes, augmented reality, ...basically anything goes!

Your ideas should emphasize the premium, pioneering and trendsetting aspect of this unique whiskey and appeal to our target audience (see REFERENCE section).

Just like Chivas J&J's customers, make your idea stands out!

FORMAT

Illustrations, sketches, concepts, photographies, video, animation…Any visual medium that will best convey your idea and make it easy to understand. Do not make an ad, we are only interested in ideas.

REFERENCE

Target Audience:
- Chinese men, 24 to 35 years old who, together with their friends, are confident to re-interpret trends and lead them.
- As individuals, they have high education and high economic status.
- They see themselves as cool, fashionable and edgy and need to be stimulated by strong collective emotions and challenges. By doing so they feel connected with others and it reinforces their sense of belonging to an elite group in China.
- Part gentlemen and part “bad boys”, they have a definite sense of transgression and charming mischief.
- Their drinking behavior is party-oriented and highly social.
- They want to enjoy the present moment.
- They live in T1 and T2 cities and like to socialize in bars and KTVs.

- Duration of your work should be 30 – 45 seconds
- If you are selected as a winner, you must supply the original working files in 720p and 1080p High Definition version, so make sure to keep an HD or uncompressed MOV version of your work.

- Source file must be at least 70dpi
- If you are selected as a winner, you must supply the original hi-res working files

DO’S & DON’TS

- No restrictions on the number of submissions per participant
- Entries must be original and exclusive to the participant, true and verifiable
- You MUST use music and images that are rights-free. It is your duty to ensure that all elements you use do not infringe any copyrights. Please include the following statement on your media description bloc once you have uploaded your work: “All elements used in part or in whole have rights cleared for usage in the ‘Chivas J&J’ Call for Entries”
- eYeka Asia has the right to reject entries containing obscene, racist, unethical, dangerous, violent or legally objectionable material, or material that may infringe upon any person’s personal or property rights. Such entries will be immediately disqualified and not allowed on the Call for Entries.

INFRINGEMENT NOTICE

Contestants undertake to submit creative and original works.
Contestants warrant that they hold all rights upon submitted works and warrant that the use of the works in the contest does not violate any third parties' rights.
Contestants acknowledge that in case of breach of these rules, the organizer shall be entitled to deem their participation and the prize granting as void.
