About the author

Muhammad Chairuddin, or simply known as Udin, brother to Hidayat, the duo behind Nyamok Animation, one of the most recognizable names in Indonesia's animation industry.

Their impressive portfolio includes various animation and Flash application, interactive websites and, of course, short animated movies.

Udin was graduated from MSD (Modern School of Design) Yogyakarta in 2000, majoring in Graphic Design and have worked in Jakarta as web designer.

Background

It begins from a short animation named "Nyamok", for mosquito in 2000.

We chose this little flying vampire as a reminder to our childhood home in Yogyakarta was located on the edge of a small forest (Kethu Wonogiri Forest) and, naturally, forest mosquitoes had always been a constant problem for us. The mascot was some kind of our nostalgic remainder to that old days.
